Josh is a freelance lighting designer based in New York, NY. A graduate of the State University of New York College at Geneseo, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre with a focus in Lighting Design and Technology. A native of the Lower Hudson Valley region of New York, inspiration to go into theatrical lighting design springs directly from the nearby theatre district in Manhattan and prominent designers such as Kevin Adams and Don Holder.

As a designer, Josh believes in being able to communicate ideas effectively and efficiently with all departments of the production staff. As such, Josh has experience in sound, scenic, and costume design as well as serving various crew positions to imbue his ideas, decisions, and communications.
